Wyffels Hybrids is seeking a Dealer Development Manager who leads regional Seed Representative recruitment efforts while serving as a strategic partner in business development, territory planning, distribution strategy, and talent management. Through proactive talent mapping, industry networking, key account engagement, and consultative leadership, this role helps build a high-performing Seed Representative force that supports long-term regional growth and market expansion. What You'll Do Recruit Top Talent | Identify, attract, and recruit high-performing Seed Representatives and farmer dealers through targeted sourcing, industry networking, referrals, trade events, and proactive talent mapping. Build Strong Distribution | Support regional distribution strategy by identifying market opportunities, evaluating coverage gaps, and aligning talent, territory, and customer development plans to drive sustainable growth. Advise and Influence | Serve as a trusted advisor on Seed Representative recruitment, succession planning, onboarding, retention, compensation, and incentive programs while providing market intelligence and hiring guidance to regional leadership. Coach and Develop | Equip District Sales Managers with recruiting best practices, candidate evaluation techniques, networking strategies, and long-term workforce planning to improve recruiting effectiveness across the region. Analyze and Recommend | Monitor recruitment metrics, sales trends, competitive activity, and market intelligence to recommend actions that improve talent acquisition, distribution coverage, and business performance. Represent the Brand | Build relationships with agricultural influencers, dealers, and industry professionals while promoting Wyffels' purpose, values, and growth strategy through field visits, industry events, and speaking engagements. Communicate with Impact | Develop and deliver compelling presentations, opportunity briefs, and recruiting materials that effectively position Wyffels as an employer of choice within the agricultural community. Collaborate for Success | Partner with the Seed Rep Growth Manager and cross-functional leaders to share market insights, improve recruiting strategies, strengthen employer branding, and ensure a consistent approach to Seed Representative recruitment across the business. Your Environment Regular travel across your territory — expect a mix of office work, field visits, grower meetings, and team collaboration.  What You Bring Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Ten (10) or more years of progressive experience in agricultural sales, sales leadership, business development, territory management, or seed industry recruitment. Demonstrated success building high-performing sales organizations, recruiting top talent, and developing strategic customer relationships. Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of the seed corn industry, agricultural sales cycles, seed distribution models, dealer networks, and large account management. Extensive knowledge of regional agricultural markets, customer buying behaviors, competitive dynamics, and relationship-based sales and compensation models. Leadership & Business Acumen: Proven ability to develop long-term business development and distribution strategies while influencing leaders through trusted partnerships, market insight, and data-driven recommendations. Strong business and financial acumen with experience evaluating incentive programs, compensation structures, and regional growth opportunities. Relationship Building: Established professional network within the agricultural industry and demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with growers, dealers, agricultural professionals, and sales leaders. Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority. Recruitment & Talent Development: Experience recruiting relationship-based agricultural sales professionals with demonstrated success in talent mapping, proactive sourcing, candidate assessment, and building passive talent pipelines. Ability to evaluate a candidate's sales performance, customer relationships, market influence, and long-term growth potential. Skills & Abilities: Exceptional strategic planning, project management, organizational, and presentation skills with a high level of technological proficiency. Ability to manage multiple regional initiatives and searches simultaneously while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
