The group you’ll be a part of

The Global Warehouse Project Manager role supports significant growth in warehouse capacity across the U.S. and Asia and is part of Lam Research’s Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) organization. The GWS team delivers safe, sustainable, innovative, and high-value workplace solutions that enable Lam’s business objectives. This includes new construction, real estate development, space planning, and utility infrastructure planning in support of global operations.

The impact you’ll make

As the Fremont site Construction Project Manager, you will lead delivery of a major capital project, including a semiconductor cleanroom and central utilities facility. You will be accountable for end-to-end project execution—from initiation through completion—ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership across cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, construction, and business stakeholders, while driving alignment, risk management, and disciplined execution on a large-scale, complex program.

What you’ll do

Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, schedule, and budget, including site feasibility and land use planning.

Program & Team Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Cost Management

  • Manage budgets, track spend, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.

Schedule Management

  • Develop and manage schedules, monitor progress, and resolve variances.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership, project teams, and internal customers.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure construction meets design intent, quality standards, and code requirements.

Contract & Procurement Management

  • Manage contracts and support procurement of contractors, vendors, and long-lead equipment.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify risks, remove obstacles, and lead teams to resolve complex challenges.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver project status, financial reporting, and actionable insights to support decision-making.

Process Improvement

  • Drive continuous improvement of project delivery processes aligned with business strategy.

Change Management & Closeout

  • Manage project changes and ensure proper project closeout.

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field with 12+ years of experience; or Master’s with 10+ years; or equivalent experience or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of project or program management experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Semiconductor industry or global supplier experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant project management certifications such as PMP

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.

Salary

CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: Min $114,000 -  Max $253,000.

The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
