General Manager Couple | Luxury Lodge | Greater Kruger Area
Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a strong and experienced General Manager Couple to provide maternity cover at a luxury lodge in the Greater Kruger Area. This temporary contract runs from November 2026 only and requires a dynamic couple with a wellness background, proven leadership skills, and the ability to manage all aspects of lodge operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day lodge operations across all departments
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service standards at all times
- Lead, mentor, and develop lodge teams
- Manage guest relations and proactively address feedback
- Oversee Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, and Maintenance operations
- Monitor budgets, financial controls, and operational costs
- Ensure effective stock control and procurement processes
- Uphold health, safety, and environmental standards
- Drive staff training, development, and performance management initiatives
- Manage administration, reporting, and compliance requirements
- Foster a positive team culture and strong staff morale
- Maintain the lodge's luxury standards and reputation
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience as a General Manager Couple or Senior Lodge Management Couple in a luxury lodge environment
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality operations
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Proven guest relations and service excellence experience
- Financial management and budgeting expertise
- Strong administrative and organisational abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy and lodge management system experience
- Valid driver's licences
- Hospitality qualifications advantageous
