Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Manager, Marketing and Communications, to lead the team in execution of integrated marketing initiatives that elevate our brand, support product adoption, and reinforce our market leadership. This role is at the heart of communications planning and execution—translating marketing and product priorities into high-impact campaigns, content, and messaging. The ideal candidate is both a strategic marketer and a disciplined project manager: someone who can orchestrate complex initiatives across internal teams and external partners while maintaining a high bar for quality, speed, and consistency.

As a people leader, you will manage and mentor a team of talented professionals, including the functional areas of graphic designer, program management, and event specialists. You will foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.

You will play a critical role in bringing our story to life across product launches, digital campaigns, tradeshows, and core marketing channels—ensuring every touchpoint delivers clarity, credibility, and impact.

 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals, including graphic designers, program managers, and event specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Set clear goals and expectations for team members, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the tools, resources, and training needed to succeed.
  • Manage team workloads and priorities to ensure timely and high-quality execution of projects.
  • Optimize resource allocation across internal and external teams.
  • Manage external agencies and freelance partners across creative, content, and digital execution.

Integrated Campaign Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, web, events, and sales channels. Partner with product marketing to understand strategic goals of campaigns and consult on strategies.
  • Translate strategic briefs into actionable plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ensure alignment across brand, product marketing, and commercial teams.
  • Ensure content aligns with brand standards, clinical accuracy, and strategic messaging.
  • Leverage AI tools like Jasper to streamline content creation, enhance creativity, and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize AI tools like Jasper to generate communications, web copy, social media content, and email campaigns with impactful brand voice and audience segmentation strategies.
  • Ensure all AI-generated content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and strategic goals.

Tradeshows & Events

  • Support communications execution for national and regional trade shows and congresses.
  • Coordinate pre-, during-, and post-event communications and content.
  • Partner with internal teams to amplify presence and engagement.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Oversee resource management, workflows, and asset delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives utilizing Asana or similar workflow collaboration tools and dashboards.
  • Implement and manage efficient processes for briefing, review, and approvals.
  • Identify risks, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time, high-quality execution for the customer marketing and communications team.

 

Skills & Capabilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts.

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Strong experience executing multi-channel marketing campaigns in B2B, healthcare, or med-tech environments.
  • Deep understanding of digital channels, content strategy, and campaign performance drivers.
  • Ability to translate strategy into effective, executable marketing programs.

Content & Communication

  • Strong instincts for high-quality content and storytelling.
  • Ability to manage the development of clinical and technical content with accuracy and clarity.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Proven ability to work effectively with product marketing, regulatory affairs, sales, and leadership teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in marketing or marketing communications in the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries. A minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience, including managing exempt and non-exempt staff is required.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a team of marketing professionals.
  • Experience supporting Health Care Professional marketing, patient education, or healthcare communications initiatives.
  • Proficiency with tools, including Microsoft Office, Sharepoint, Asana, and Jasper AI and/or other platforms.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and clinical content is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and project management skills.
  • Experience working with external agencies or creative vendors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards for medical devices or healthcare marketing.
  • Ability to travel overnight (15-20%) with some weekend travel within the United States and internationally.

 

Pay Scale: $144,000- $170,000 + potential annual bonus + comprehensvie benefits package
