Job Opportunity: Team Lead - Elevate Electronics Manufacturing with SMTC!

Key Responsibilities: Performs but not limited to high level tasks associated with component prepping, slide line assembly, wave soldering, post wave soldering operations, mechanical / final assembly and packaging of Company products. Have the knowledge to access company procedures and navigate shop floor controls. Must possess and have a willingness to fill in for a Lead and give direction when needed.

Responsible for accessing company procedures and navigate shop floor controls.
Utilize a manual, semi-automatic or automatic solder paste stencil machine

Ability to load components onto a Universal Fuzion or GSM pick and place machines
Operate the reflow oven
Load proper programs into AOI machine
Perform quality inspections at each stage.
Communicate with AOI personnel to identify and resolve assembly issues
Must be able to read and understand work routers, bill of materials, assembly drawings, component identification, and component polarity
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Operates automated equipment.
Performs manual assembly by utilizing hand tools and automated equipment in the manufacture of printed circuit board assemblies and final chassis assembly per defined work instructions or by supervisor direction.
Mentor new associates to preforming tasks and following procedures.
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work area.
Responsible for quality of product produced.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Perform such other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirement:

Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
May require the ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 Lbs.
