Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Product Manager/Business Development Manager with at least five years of experience in the computer hardware distribution sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive product strategy, develop new business channels, and expand market presence through innovative product positioning and targeted marketing initiatives.

Job Description:

  • Own and manage the profit and loss (P&L) performance of assigned product lines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors at multiple organizational levels.
  • Create and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, programs, and promotional initiatives.
  • Provide proactive sales support and collaborate with sales teams to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and industry data to identify growth opportunities and business risks.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and business analyses for management and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development of business plans and strategic initiatives with general guidance from management.
  • Design and implement pricing strategies tailored to key accounts and market conditions.
  • Forecast demand, plan inventory requirements with vendors, and manage inventory levels to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the markets, product categories, and industry trends relevant to assigned product lines.
  • Coordinate and facilitate vendor training sessions, business reviews, and meetings with internal sales teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in sales, business development, product management, or a related role within a distribution channel or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and business objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders, including over the phone.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptable, self-motivated, and capable of thriving in a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
