MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for conducting daily inspections of molded products produced by machines. Additionally, oversees the second operation to verify that products meet customer requirements. 

 

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Cleaning and Trimming: Clean and trim products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Assembly: Produce and/or provide secondary operations assembly of injection-molded parts.
  • Measuring Equipment: Use various measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, etc., as needed to ensure precision.
  • Hand Tools: Utilize various hand tools including microscopes, clippers, knives, blades, degating fixtures, tweezers, screwdrivers, flat heads, hand drills, hammers, etc., as needed for assembly and inspection tasks.
  • Job and Machine Operation: Run all types of jobs and machines efficiently and accurately.
  • Inspection: Perform inspections on all jobs, including insert type jobs (such as gold bodies), to ensure product quality.
  • IQMS Utilization: Learn and use IQMS software as it applies to job functions.
  • Quality and Safety Promotion: Work to promote quality and safety in all aspects of the job.
  • Standards Adherence: Ensure the highest possible product quality and adherence to ISO and/or other standards.
  • Overtime: Be available for overtime as needed on a project-by-project basis.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other job duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • ATTENDANCE IS VERY IMPORTANT. All Associates are required to report to their scheduled shift on time and work their entire shift.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Proficiency in speaki duties without a translator.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Capability to understand and follow various instructions provided in written, oral, or blueprint formats.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and good vision.
  • Ability to operate machinery independently without supervision.
  • Proficiency in performing visual and dimensional inspections without supervision.
