The impact you’ll make

    
The Software Computational Engineer applies the following towards solving semiconductor fabrication hardware and process discovery, design, and optimization challenges:

1) Understanding of the fundamental physical, chemical, electromagnetic phenomenon and their interactions at the atomic to chamber scales

2) Development of mathematical models governing the fluid flow, gas-phase and surface chemical reactions, electromagnetic effects, and numerous processes driving semiconductor plasma etch and deposition processes
3) Computational algorithms, applied mathematics, and numerical methods applied to solving systems of linear and partial-differential equations arising from the aforementioned models

Software development skills including one or more programming languages such as C++, Python, Matlab, etc. and experience building large-scale, high-performance, and scalable software for CPU and GPGPU computing.

Who we’re looking for

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a 
  Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without 
  experience; or equivalent work experience.
