Job DetailsJob Location: Fremont 0NK54 - Fremont, CA 94539Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolSalary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1stJob Category: ManufacturingSummary: Perform a variety of assembly operations on electronic components and subassemblies on the production line utilizing work process procedures, written instructions, diagrams, and specifications. Primary work is conducted under a lighted magnified lens, utilizing small hand tools, machinery and applicable materials, while soldering components and assembling to printed circuit boards utilizing a soldering iron.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Read and interpret assembly instructions, drawings and work instruction processes. Identify hardware, wire assemblies, metal, plastic, and other components. Written tests for ESD + Soldering requirements+ IPC-A-610 Class 3 + J-Std-001 certification. Handle thru hole components, fine pitched capacitors, resistors, SMT and other pick and place components and sub assemblies including BGA components and assemblies, FR4 PCBs, mechanical assemblies and Hybrids. Use tools such as tweezers, fine pitched tools, Calipers, Gauges, Scales, Wire strippers, multi-meters. Probe using a multi-meter capacitors, resistors for value/capacitance. Use Inserts assembly machine to install inserts on PCBs and housings. Depanel and clean PCBA’s Bend leads per IPC – A-610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 / Mil-STD / drawing requirements. Use high temperature solder pot for lead solder tinning leads of components as well as hybrids. Use Soldering irons to solder thru hole components and Hybrids on FR4 PCBS conforming to IPC-A-610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 / Mil-STD. Use hot air gun and tweezer equipment to remove components from and rework PCBs conforming to IPC-A-610 Class 3 / J-STD-001 / Mil-STD. Clean PCBS, post soldering assembly, using Isopropyl Alcohol May be required to pour such chemicals into PCBAs or on sub-assemblies for the purpose of conformal coating/sealing/ encapsulation. Inspect - to the prints and procedures - the components and PCBs for defects before starting the assembly and after finishing his/her part of the assembly. Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling. Comply with all in-house training as identified in job specific family and or specific training plan. Follow company 6S and continuous improvement (kaizen) objectives. Perform all other duties, as assigned. QualificationsJob Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Perform general physical activities. Monitor processes, materials and surroundings. Experience soldering per J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 class 3 requirements. Be familiar with wiring color coding system used in the thru hole electronics industry. Ability to work on a team and be a good team member. Ability to access documents using a computer Sense of urgency, successful at meeting deadlines.
