Join Amcor as an Assistant Thermoforming Operator and play a key role in creating packaging that protects essential products. In this role, you’ll support production by assisting machine operators, ensuring smooth operation of thermoforming equipment, and helping finished products meet our quality standards. Your work helps us deliver reliable, sustainable packaging to customers worldwide.Â
ScheduleÂ
Shift: 12-hour 2-2-3 straight night shift (6:55 p.m. – 7:10 a.m.)Â
Work 3–4 days per week with schedules provided a full calendar year in advanceÂ

Pay: $21.06–$24.02/hour + $0.50/night shift premiumÂ
Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per weekÂ

What you’ll do:Â
Assist Thermoforming Operators with machine setup, operation, and monitoringÂ
Load raw materials and ensure continuous machine operationÂ
Inspect finished products to meet quality standardsÂ
Keep production areas clean, safe, and organizedÂ
Document production data and report issues to the operator or supervisorÂ
Support troubleshooting and minor adjustments to minimize downtimeÂ
Assist with changeovers, roll splices, regrind/elutriator systems, QA checks, and BMS operationsÂ
Follow all safety, EHS, GMP, food safety, and operational guidelinesÂ
What We Want From You: Lead the PackÂ
Preferred qualifications:Â
High school diploma or equivalentÂ
Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferredÂ
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operationÂ
Ability to read and follow work instructions and production schedulesÂ
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skillsÂ
Reliable attendance and commitment to working 12-hour shiftsÂ
Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs. and working in a high-heat, fast-paced environmentÂ
Physical RequirementsÂ
Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Â
Work on and around machinery for extended periodsÂ
Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environmentÂ
