Location: Fremont, OH
Pay: $22.74–$28.29/hour + $0.50/hour night shift premium
Schedule: 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule (days or nights) | Day shift: 6:55 a.m.–7:10 p.m. | Night shift: 6:55 p.m.–7:10 a.m.
Join Amcor as a Thermoforming Operator and build your manufacturing career with a global packaging leader. In this machine operator role, you’ll operate thermoforming equipment, support a small production team, and help maintain safe, efficient, high-quality production.
What You’ll Do
- Operate thermoforming machines and monitor production performance
- Lead and coordinate Assistants and Packers to meet daily production goals
- Complete product quality checks and inspections
- Support machine changeovers and help minimize downtime
- Maintain production records, machine boards, audits, and check sheets
- Train and coach team members as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and food-safety requirements
- Support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate manufacturing equipment
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and support a production team
- Ability to stand for a 12.25-hour shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in hot and cold manufacturing environments
- Ability to complete Amcor Thermoforming Operator training and skills certification
