Exciting and highly rewarding opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a focus on manufacturing and heavy Industrial projects looking to join the team in Duluth! This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical design for industrial facilities (mining and production operations)
Serve as technical leader on projects from start to finish
Build/maintain client relationships
Design/oversee systems (Industrial ventilation/dust collection, process piping, pumping, and plumbing, and balance-of-plant/material handling support systems)
Scope project requirements, verify calculations, and validate equipment selection
Prepare/review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Coordinate with other teams
Mentor/train junior staff
Support construction administration/site visits as needed
Assist with project coordination, client interactions, and/or proposals

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
PE License
6+ years of mechanical design experience in heavy industrial or mining environments
Experience leading design efforts and mentoring junior engineers
Experience leading technical design efforts across disciplines
Previous design experience in mining or industrial facilities
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and/or Plant 3D preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
