This role emphasizes preventive and predictive maintenance, regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to minimize downtime and support operational performance goals. Shifts: Variable, depending on production and company needs. Overtime:  As necessary.              Description of Work Place: Work is performed in a refrigerated food-production and warehouse environment (approximately 35°F–45°F) containing conveyors, grinders, slicers, pallet-handling systems, and other industrial equipment. The environment may involve wet floors, elevated noise levels, tight spaces, and frequent interaction with production personnel.   Description of Job tasks: • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility systems. • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system issues. • Repair, replace, and install motors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, sensors, valves, and wiring. • Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, temperature controls, and associated components (EPA-compliant). • Calibrate instrumentation, sensors, and control devices to maintain operational accuracy. • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. • Safely perform and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, food safety requirements, GMPs, and company safety policies. • Document maintenance activities in the CMMS. • Maintain spare-parts inventory. • Collaborate cross-functionally and support continuous improvement. • Train operators and junior maintenance staff.
