POSITION: Maintenance Mechanic
REPORTS TO: Facility Maintenance Manager
LOCATION: Fresno, CA
SALARY RANGE: $20.00 to $35.00/hour, DOE

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Ensure safe and efficient repairs, completion of preventative maintenance intervals, and support numerous other daily maintenance activities. Perform various facility maintenance repairs, respond to waste compactor breakdowns, and operate equipment in support of facility clean up projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with Maintenance Lead to determine daily
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, crushers, grinders, garbage compactors and other support equipment.
- Perform general maintenance and various repairs on company
- Assist with maintaining parts and materials
- Communicate repair issues on a timely
- Comply with all maintenance policies and
- Report on any unsafe conditions and or
- Ensure the cleanliness and good-working order of all work areas including vehicles, equipment, storage containers, and break rooms.
- Update and submit required reporting/paperwork to management in a timely
- Recommend improvements to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of the equipment and
- Operate equipment and vehicles as needed to perform cleanup jobs, respond to road calls, or assist with various special projects.

REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):
- Minimum 3-years Related Maintenance Experience Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Class C License with Acceptable Driving Class A or B Commercial Driver's License Preferred
- 3+ years Hydraulic and MIG/Stick Welding Experience Preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to follow directions, and willingness to learn new
- Ability to lift up to 50
- Bilingual; English/Spanish (preferred)
