GSF Properties Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician III in Fresno, CA. If you're experienced in repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and keeping apartment communities in top condition, we'd love to hear from you.

In this role, you will perform a variety of maintenance functions throughout the community, including rental units, residential common areas, office spaces, grounds, and parking lots. Your work will help maintain the property in accordance with ownership and management objectives.

This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pay range for this position is $23.00-$25.00 per hour. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and at least 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and maintenance and repair work in areas including, but not limited to, appliances, carpentry, hardware, and basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs in accordance with company operating procedures and standards.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments to ensure they are market-ready and meet company quality standards.
• Maintain community grounds and curb appeal and trash management.
• Be available for on call activity during off hours and emergencies as needed
• Maintain good public relations with residents and vendors
• Assist with annual apartment inspections and identifying action items
• Report violations of lease and house rules
• Timely completion of maintenance request, work orders and ensure tenant’s maintenance needs are being met
• Work with manager to schedule vendors and order necessary supplies
• Maintaining excellent curb appeal
• Help maintaining excellent curb appeal

Requirements

Job Requirements - Maintenance Technician III

• Minimum of 2 years of apartment maintenance experience required.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Experience performing unit turns, preventive maintenance, and work orders.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with residents and team members.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm=40 hours per week
