Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Associate or Licensed Clinician (AMFT, APCC, ASW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing mental health services unserved or underserved community. You will play a key role in helping clients achieve meaningful change through evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, therapeutic practices. This position operates under a contract with Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health and staff must meet both County and organization requirements.聽

About the Position:

The current opening is for an associate (ACSW, AMFT. APCC) or licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) clinician for a Housing and Supportive Services program that provides housing and supportive services for clients experiencing significant mental illness and who otherwise would be unhoused.聽 Clinicians will provide support to individuals at their housing site who require comprehensive care to maintain housing stability, reduce behavioral health symptoms, improve social and emotional functioning, and decrease the risk of further deterioration. These services require a harm reduction model that includes a trauma informed, developmental, needs-based, strengths-based approach to wellness and recovery. A team of staff, led by a clinician, will target needs and identify a client driven plan to provide mental health services (assessment, psychiatric, individual or family therapy, skill building), linkage to community supports, educational services, vocational services, substance use, co-occurring services, and housing support services. The program goal is to assist tenants with maintaining their housing and assist with decreasing the use of acute psychiatric services, incarceration, justice and child welfare involvement, homelessness, co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues, education problems, and other risky behaviors. Qualifications:

Education and Experience:聽

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Graduation from an accredited college or university with master鈥檚 degree that meets State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements for licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽May require one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, adults and families in a therapeutic environment.聽
路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Community-based experience with Medi-Cal population preferred.聽

License or Certification

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must submit proof of current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences at time of appointment and maintain active registration with the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC). Incumbents must obtain California licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) within 6 years of initial registration. Failure to meet these requirements may result in disciplinary action, up to and including, dismissal from employment.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Possess and maintain a valid California Driver鈥檚 License, and proof of automobile liability insurance if required by assignment.

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification within three months of hire and maintain while employed.

Special Requirements:

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Successfully complete reference checks and background investigation to include Live Scan Fingerprinting;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Meet qualifications to participate in a Short-Doyle program;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Eligible for credentialing;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Some positions require meeting County of Fresno qualifications as bilingual in Spanish, Hmong or other languages designated by the County;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Community-based positions must use personal transportation in work capacity and include proof of current vehicle liability insurance with minimum coverage of 100/300. Employees will be reimbursed mileage at the IRS Rate;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽All providers are required to have a valid National Provider Identifier (NPI) number prior to their first day of employment and maintain a valid NPI throughout the duration of their tenure in this role;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must successfully complete all required agency training indicated for this position;

路聽 聽 聽 聽 聽Must obtain training and certification in evidence-based practices as required to comply with County Contract requirements.
