We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Physical Therapist Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Fresno. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a geriatric population and patients recovering from surgery, illness, or injury. Job Responsibilities:
ā¢ Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
ā¢ Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities
ā¢ Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
ā¢ Educate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises, safety, and mobility techniques
ā¢ Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress
ā¢ Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements
ā¢ Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California
ā¢ Current BLS/CPR certification
ā¢ Minimum of 6 months of recent PTA experience within the last 5 years preferred
ā¢ Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus
ā¢ Strong communication and teamwork skills
