Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a F/T Quality Control Technician located in our Kingman, AZ Plant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all QC procedures, work instructions and data recording in accordance with the Company’s Quality Management System
  • Conduct root cause analysis regarding quality issues. Identify and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Assist external and internal quality audits.
  • Disposition non-conforming material
  • Assist Production teams with process changes, quality plan documentation, and test requirement updates.
  • Assist customer service and sales teams to respond to customer questions in relation to product capability and limitations.
  • Help to drive continuous quality improvement and scrap reduction across the site.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance and calibration of quality lab equipment.
  • Perform quality assurance tests and visual inspections of raw materials, intermediary products, and finished goods per work instructions.
  • Collect and send R&D samples. Monitor, test, and report on production trials. Ensure trial materials are monitored, controlled, and disposed of as require.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • General production experience in a manufacturing environment; must be comfortable working around machinery/ heavy industrial equipment, as well as quality lab equipment.
  • Quality Management Systems Experience
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude, and root cause analysis experience
  • Strong analytical skills, comfort with quantitative information and ability to work with large datasets.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office
  • Open availability/flexibility to work overtime as needed including extended shifts and/or weekends.

Working Conditions:

  • This job operates in a manufacturing and office work environment. This role routinely uses standard quality lab equipment.
  • Will require regular sitting, standing, and lifting.
  • Expected work environment: Cold/ Hot temperatures.
  • Inside and/or outside
