We are looking for an energetic Order Selector to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products. An individual who is customer-oriented, team player and who are willing to learn more. Due to the fast-paced nature of the job, we require employees to be reliable, self-motivated and able to work well under pressure. Solid communication skills are also essential. Employees are required to pick orders by hand accurately and in a timely manner, while keeping quality standards high. A successful candidate will need basic computer skills and be willing to expand the employee's knowledge of the company's technology and products. QualificationsWhat will you be doing? Pick products and prepare them to be packed. Read orders to determine which products to pick. Restock shelves Load and/or assist in loading the truck for the scheduled deliveries Drive forklift and/or use an electric pallet jack as necessary in warehouse to load delivery truck Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment. Inspecting inventory for damage and faults. Marking and labeling stock. Counting and confirming inventory. Operating reach truck/forklift (1 year experience) Managing all merchandise with appropriate care Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination. Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor. REQUIREMENTS Able to read, write, and solve math problems. Ability to work well with others and be a team member. Able to interpret, understand, follow and communicate instructions. Strong work experience. Computer skills Must pass background check and drug test. Must be able to be certified as a forklift driver. Electric pallet jack (stand up, walk behinds and manual) 1-year minimum experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to work on feet for 8 hours WORK ENVIRONMENT This position works in a warehouse with various temperatures, varying from cold and freezer settings warehouse environment with some outdoor exposure during the workday.
