This role is responsible for making measurements, performing routine quantitative and qualitative biological chemical analytical tests, researching technical literature, and evaluating old processes.

What You Will Do:  

  • Assists in development of formulations for a variety of applications 

  • Assist QA Analysts in performing scheduled calibrations

  • Prepare reagents as needed for testing

  • Responsible for all steps of routine experimentation including sample prep, equipment orientation, instrument control, data processing, and analysis 

  • Conducts product performance and field testing 

  • Approves, holds, and/or rejects products based on laboratory analysis versus specifications  

  • Ensures compliance to current regulatory requirements, following GMP guidelines for data reporting, and preparation of validation protocols, raw data generation, and final reports

  • Conducts reexamination of borderline results, research technical literature and communicates opportunities for process improvements 

  • Multi-tasks between many projects to ensure the various completion deadlines are met

  • Recommends testing parameters, completes experiments and project work as assigned 

  • Provides analytical and technical support for quality related product investigations 

  • Completes data reviews for out-of-specification test results issuing SPC charts of historical results

  • Optimizes and recommends lab improvements to support 5S initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned
     

Position Details:

  • Location: Fresno, TX

  • Work Week/Shift: Dupont shift - Shift B

  • Compensation: $27.50 per hour
     

Minimum Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of Laboratory Technician experience or closely related experience

  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity
     

Physical Demands:  

  • As a pre-requisite, this position requires passing a drug screen and physical exam 
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong background in scientific skills and lab analysis

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in applied science at an established college or university

  • Experience working with/supporting ISO 9001 regulations

  • Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures/regulations

  • Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

The pay rate is $27.50 per hour Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
