WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist (Sales) who is passionate about digital marketing and content creation. You will be responsible for driving and executing the sales marketing and brand strategy for global campaigns across WorldLink. You will support the sales team with execution of key campaigns and digital marketing initiatives.

The Marketing Specialist is a highly visible position who must be able to quickly learn many aspects of the business while using their Marketing acumen to provide value to projects both internal and external.

Role and Responsibilities:

Marketing & Brand Strategy
  • Build, schedule, and optimize email marketing campaigns.
  • Work with our sales team on development and implementation of account-based marketing campaigns.
  • Develop, implement, execute and monitor a brand strategy for the many entities within the WorldLink ecosystem, while ensuring that their respective value proposition ties together to advance WorldLink’s mission.
  • Brand strategy will include:
  • Establishing and ensuring brand guideline compliance.
  • Designing templates for market-facing collateral.
  • Articulating and executing brand vision.
  • Messaging WorldLink’s value proposition to audiences inside and outside of the firm.
  • Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online social media and Maestra platforms.
  • Assist in the launch of products and services and the pursuit of new business opportunities.
  • Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding.
  • Conduct competitor and customer insights analysis.
  • Assess and provide recommendations to improve WorldLink’s positioning in the market.
  • Positioning external collateral to ensure consistent branding and the messaging of WorldLink’s value proposition.
Content Development
  • Support our sales team to help build compelling marketing collateral.
  • Provide written content (copywriting) and work with stakeholders to develop original content to advance the brand and marketability of the company.
  • Manage our brands’ social media presence.
  • Work across internal teams to align messaging for our Newsletters.
  • Ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review and adhere to brand guidelines.
Website
  • Oversee the maintenance of the WorldLink website to develop new content, improve website user experience, and analyze website analytics to improve efficiency.
Research
  • Perform market analysis and research to support the WorldLink sales team initiatives.
Required Experience and Education:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a Marketing related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of B2B Marketing related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is required – Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Background in a technology field is preferred.
  • Expertise using the latest Marketing Automation Platforms and ability to develop lead generation and brand awareness campaigns within these platforms.
  • Functional knowledge website development to make website updates and deliver other web-based projects.
  • Basic understanding of the latest CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.)
Necessary Skills and Attributes:
  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Advanced writing and communication skills to develop thought leadership content and create verbiage across WorldLink’s digital footprint.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and strong presentation skills to convey information to people inside and outside of the company.
  • Strong relationship management skills to understand the needs of other departments and work with them to produce a viable result.
  • Capable of sourcing internal and external data for analysis on company SWOT and positioning.
  • Have a can-do attitude and ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy while meeting tight deadlines.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
