The Transitions Manager will establish governance, manage integrated project plans, develop operational KPIs, facilitate data capture, produce monthly reporting, and help ensure transitions are delivered successfully from kickoff through stabilization and handoff.

Who This is For

Ideal for experienced project management professionals who enjoy leading complex initiatives, working directly with clients, creating operational structure, and using data and technology to improve delivery performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the client-facing PMO lead for complex, multi-workstream transition projects

  • Manage project scope, timelines, milestones, budgets, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and decisions

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans across client, internal, vendor, technology, and operational workstreams

  • Establish project governance, meeting cadences, reporting requirements, decision forums, escalation paths, and stakeholder communications

  • Coordinate activities across client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, functional leaders, third parties, and subject matter experts

  • Streamline and manage internal PMO processes, templates, standards, controls, and operating rhythms

  • Develop and manage operational KPIs, including performance measures, calculation methods, data sources, reporting thresholds, ownership, and accountability

  • Maintain reliable PMO data by capturing, consolidating, validating, and monitoring project, operational, resource, financial, and KPI information across systems

  • Produce monthly operational reporting, including portfolio dashboards, KPI scorecards, trend analyses, and executive-level summaries

  • Manage portfolio visibility, resource demand, capacity planning, staffing coordination, utilization tracking, and assignment management across transition projects

  • Drive consistent adoption of PMO tools, governance requirements, KPI standards, and reporting processes

  • Identify risks, resolve issues, escalate barriers, analyze performance trends, and drive continuous improvement across the transition portfolio

  • Maintain transition playbooks, lessons learned, reusable assets, and knowledge-management materials

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Technology, Operations, Project Management, or a related field preferred

  • Five (5)+ years of experience in PMO, project management, program management, transition management, service delivery, or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream projects or programs

  • Experience working in both internal PMO operations and client-facing project delivery environments

  • Experience developing operational KPIs, dashboards, management reports, trend analyses, and repeatable data-capture processes across teams, systems, or workstreams

  • Strong knowledge of project governance, integrated planning, risk and issue management, change control, and executive reporting

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, dependencies, and deadlines in a matrixed environment

  • Strong facilitation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, executive-level presentation, and stakeholder-management skills

  • Experience with Jira, Salesforce, Dayshape or a comparable resource-management platform, and Workday preferred

  • Experience with data visualization, resource planning, financial tracking, utilization reporting, or demand forecasting preferred

  • Experience in managed services, professional services, consulting, outsourcing, accounting and finance operations, or technology-enabled transformation preferred

  • Project or service management certifications, including PMP, Scrum, SAFe, or ITIL, are preferred but not required
