Role:  Senior Cloud Developer (AWS Lambda / API / Terraform)
Location:   Remote ( USA )
 
Overview: (Statement of Work Project - long-term project)
* Type: Remote
* Preferred Locations: #1-Dallas/Ft. Worth area & TX; #2-CST; #3-EST
* Experience: Must have 10+ years of U.S.A work experience.
(CST & EST candidates only)
* Travel: Must be able to travel for 1 week to SWA Headquarters in Dallas to work onsite. Could be quarterly. 

 
Job Description:

Need strong Python experience. Came from a Java development background and moved into Python/AWS development. 
Need knowledge in:
* AWS
* Lambda
* Terraform
* API Development
* Cloudwatch
* Strong foundation in cloud technologies – python, Java, AWS, Lambda, Step Functions
* System Design knowledge
* Kafka

Required Qualifications:

* 10+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience (U.S. based)
* Strategic thinker is a MUST
* Someone with consistent communication and ability to follow through
* AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional preferred)
* Experience in cloud environments
* Strong experience with Terraform
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Python)
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
