School Custodian

Nawa Professional Services is seeking a dependable Custodian / Janitor to join our team in the Fruitport area! We have part-time opportunities in a school setting and an immediate start. No prior experience? No problem! We provide paid training!

Part time openings:

• Monday-Friday: 4:00PM-9:00PM (with occasional weekend work for set up and tear down of school events. During school breaks, alternate first shift schedule.)
• Monday-Friday: 5:00PM-9:00PM (with occasional weekend work for set up and tear down of school events. During school breaks, alternate first shift schedule.)

On call opening:

• Monday-Friday: on call as needed -- a 4-8 hour block of time between 8am and 11pm - up to 40 hours per week!!

Pay Rate: $14 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Operating a floor scrubber or similar floor cleaning equipment
• As well as other cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a federal background check with no past or pending criminal charges and drug test including THC testing.
• 18 years of age or older with valid ID, authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Ability to work efficiently while upholding company’s quality standards
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors/managers and other team members
