ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead a Maintenance department that includes front line maintenance managers and a crew of mechanics
Excellent mechanical aptitude required.
Assist in planning, organizing, and the administration of plant capital projects.
Select, control, and administer maintenance equipment and facilities.
Administer and direct preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Plan and monitor maintenance personnel training
Assure maintenance of adequate operating equipment, spare equipment, and replacement parts.
Maintain a good labor-management relationship.
Assure records, and equipment history data.
Data entries in plant CMMS.
Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and mechanical skills
Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
A team player with the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
An understanding of all safety (including Food Safety) requirements and cautions
Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
Experience:
7 plus years of experience in (preferred) food/beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
General Knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigerations, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills.
Knowledge of city and state building codes, OSHA requirements, and ADA laws.
