Job Description

As a Security Officer Gated Town-home Community in Fullerton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help maintain a welcoming residential environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to residents, guests, and visitors while remaining visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Full Time / Swing Shift

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals, vehicles, deliveries, and/or service providers entering the residential community.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, delivery, and incident records in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
