Job DetailsJob Location: GBDC - Fulton, NY 13069Salary Range: $20.18 - $20.18 HourlyPosition Summary: The Cherry Picker Associate is responsible for operating battery-powered lift equipment in a safe and efficient manner; along with handheld scanning devices to manage placement of inventory within a warehouse environment.   Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) Operates a variety of battery powered lift equipment to receive, put away, replenish, load inventory within a distribution warehouse, and pick orders. Assist with physical inventory to maintain accuracy of product in warehouse. Provide routine general maintenance on lift equipment: nightly charging of unit batteries, watering, checking for wear, and requesting service on inoperable equipment.   Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.   Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED Forklift License 1-3 years Reach truck experience preferred 1-3 years Counterbalance fork truck operator experience preferred 3-5 years Warehouse Operations experience preferred   Special Requirements: Occasional weekend work as required to meet business needs. QualificationsLocation: Fulton, NY   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret paperwork. Maintain consistent, dependable attendance. Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive email messages, post information to a database or spreadsheet, and perform basic word processing, bookkeeping, and/or data entry.   Equipment Used: Safety Equipment: Safety shoes, Scanner, Calculator, Photocopier, Telephone, Pallet Jack, Forklift, Cherry Picker   Computer Software: Microsoft Outlook/Express, Microsoft Word, RF Smart, NetSuite   Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
