We specialize in offering a wide range of kitchen, entertaining, décor and furniture items that cater to various styles and preferences, ensuring our customers find exactly what they need to make their homes joyful and stylish.   Position Summary: The Packing Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the packing area for Direct, Wholesale, International, and MacKenzie-Childs Retail Store orders. This position supports productivity and workflow by assigning tasks, providing guidance to Packing Associates, and ensuring orders are packed accurately and efficiently.   Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned) Lead packing operations by assigning daily tasks, monitoring productivity, and ensuring packing standards are met Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the proper box and packing materials are used to prevent damage Train and mentor Packing Associates, providing feedback and supporting their performance Monitor inventory of packing materials and coordinate restocking as needed to support workflow   Supervisory Responsibilities: This position provides guidance and leadership to Packing Associates but does not have direct supervisory authorityQualificationsEducation and Experience: High school diploma or GED Prior warehouse or packing experience required Experience in a lead or team coordinator role preferred   Special Requirements: Occasional overtime and weekend work as required to meet business needs   Location: Fulton, NY   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment with a focus on meeting deadlines Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and interpret paperwork Maintain consistent, dependable attendance   Equipment Used: Safety Equipment: Safety shoes   Physical and Mental Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, crouch, kneel, bend, climb, use fingers to grasp, handle, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to move objects Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities.
