Requirements
• Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Experience with speech, language, and swallowing evaluations and treatment.
• Ability to develop therapy goals and treatment plans for adult consumers.
• Behavioral health, rehabilitation, long-term care, or hospital experience preferred.
• Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to complete orientation and meet facility credentialing/security requirements.

Responsibilities
• Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing functions using appropriate diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment goals and speech therapy treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy for speech, language, and swallowing impairments.
• Determine the need for referral to a medical specialist, dentist, or counselor as appropriate.
• Interpret findings for clinical staff, consumers, and caregivers.
• Complete documentation in accordance with facility guidelines and policies.
• Ensure services are delivered safely and effectively.
• Attend required orientation prior to beginning services.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
