Kitchen Manager

Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts!

Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Kitchen Manager who will be responsible for creating an exceptional and memorable dining experience to our seniors. This position will be responsible for the coordination of staff schedules, managing the purchasing, preparing and serving of food, and leading all aspects of the dining department.

Kitchen Manager Qualifications:

• Demonstrates a passion to work with the senior population
• Cook experience a must!
• Preferred 2 years or more of experience
• Experience with managing teams
• ServeSafe Certification
• Understanding of therapeutic diets
• Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, weekends and a flexible work schedule
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office
