Safety Associate

Shift: 2nd

Location: 1 pm to 9:30 pm

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement!

What You Will Do:

• Support EHS contact for on-site contractor management.
• Support Fire System inspections
• Inspect processes and procedures that regards machinery and ensure good health and safety practice
• Patrol the production line and check if workers follow safety rules
• Conduct daily safety training for new and current employees
• Conduct safety training on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc)
• Carry out risk assessments of machinery, working environments and structures, taking measurements of noise, heat, and vibrations, and taking photographs and samples where necessary
• Ensure workers are provided with suitable PPE, such as ear protectors or appropriate types of gloves and clothing
• Support incident investigations
• Report on results of inspections and investigations
• Providing safety support to plant employees
• Other assignments as required

Qualification:

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Manufacturing and safety experience preferred
