COATING LINE OPERATOR (12-Hour AM and PM Shifts)

Description

Siliconature Corporation is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Coating Line Operator to join our growing company! 

Siliconature produces premium solvent-based silicone coated release liners that we supply to a large variety of different markets. This position will run production on our SA-100 tandem/single head solvent-based coating line.

Requirements

POSITION SUMMARY: 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides full operational support for the coating line.
• Responsible for overall quality of materials produced
• Responsible for organizing, giving basic direction, and performing careful communications with supporting staff
• Responsible for meeting company safety, throughput, waste goals
• Accurate production data entry on ERP system (Materials used, finished label production, down time notes, etc)
• Specific cleaning duties on or off the coating line
• Performs Operator Basic Care, and assists in reliability functions, and improvements

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: 

• Previous experience in web handling processes
• Previous experience in coating, printing, or converting
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Knows how to use basic hand tools properly and safely
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to organize and plan and direct a team to achieve goals

SUCCESSFUL PRODUCTION POSITIONS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING FOUNDATIONS:

• Safety conscious
• Committed to working in a clean, neat manner and promoting a 5S environment
• Strong attention to details with desire for accuracy
• Effective communication (oral and written)
• Basic technology skills (human machine interface and data entry into the ERP system)
• Ability and desire to work independently and closely within a team

Earn up to $26.00 an hour (depending on related operator experience)

Shift Premiums - $2.00/hr on Night Shift
