2nd Shift Warehouse Picker / Packer

Shift & Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• Full-time position
• Overtime as required

Position Summary

• Responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment during second shift
• Work alternates between order picking and packing, depending on order readiness
• Emphasis on consistent pace, accuracy, and teamwork
• Position requires hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) throughout the entire picking, packing, and shipping process 

Primary Job Duties

Order Picking

• Pick orders using cherry picker equipment
• Use handheld scanners throughout the picking process
• Correct inventory discrepancies when identified
• Drop off completed picks in designated work areas and scan into the system
• Maintain accuracy while meeting productivity expectations

Packing & Shipping

• Pack individual products into appropriate-sized boxes
• Box, wrap, and pack merchandise according to company procedures
• Label and tag all packed boxes and initial for quality tracking
• Stack boxes onto pallets with labels facing outward
• Wrap pallets securely for shipment
• Scan individual products during the packing process

General Warehouse Duties

• Accommodate and carefully handle merchandise
• Lift and move products weighing up to approximately 50 lbs
• Operate warehouse equipment including cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks
• Enter data into inventory and logistics systems as required
• Report inaccuracies observed during picking or packing

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods
• Comfortable operating equipment at height (cherry picker)
