Job Description
This is a Full-Time driver position with Pierce One Logistics, Inc., delivering packages for Amazon!
(Seasonal Positions are from October 15 to January 15)
We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly problem solve a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, communicate effectively, and are ready to get the job done. Successful delivery drivers enjoy being out on the road driving, put safety first, and care deeply about customer expectations and satisfaction.
We are looking for team players who desire to grow with the Company
路 Military veterans are welcome!
路 Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory
路 As we grow, supervisory roles will be available

Benefits & Scheduling:
路 Starting pay $22.25/ hour (paid biweekly)
路 10-hour shifts are typical
路 4-day workweek (40 hours) is typical
路 Schedule for full-time聽team members work a fixed schedule which includes 1 weekend day, Sunday or Saturday, allowing for more personal time.
路 Expect daytime shift
路 A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
路 Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
路 Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
路 Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
路 Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
路 Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
路 Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
路 Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
路 Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver鈥檚 license.
Qualifications
Requirements:
路 Must be at least 21 years old
路 Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver鈥檚 license
路 Authorized to work in the United States
路 Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
路 Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
路 Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
