What we are Looking For:
As a CEC Electrical Designer working with our Professional Engineer, you will support design/build projects by producing coordinated, code-compliant construction documents. This role works closely with engineers, project managers, estimators, and field teams to deliver efficient and constructible designs.

To be successful in this role you must have:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical construction design, preferably in a design/build environment.
- Electrical proficiency must include 120VAC to 600VAC power distribution, lighting systems, grounding, NFPA Arc Flash with SKM software and documentation management.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit (BIM electrical modeling) is required.
- Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Strong computer skills and use of Procore, Autodesk Cloud, MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Electrical Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Prepare single-line diagrams, panel schedules, risers, and equipment layouts.
- Perform electrical calculations including load, voltage drop and short-circuit studies.
- Coordinate designs with other trades and internal project teams.
- Support preconstruction, estimating, and construction phases.
- Apply NEC and project standards throughout design development.
- Actively participate in all necessary actions to complete job steps effectively and safely.
- Ensure that all assigned projects are completed on time and according to schedule.
