About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on HR Manager to oversee daily human resources operations while also serving as a strategic partner to leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both administrative execution and people-focused strategy. The ideal candidate will manage core HR functions, ensure compliance, support employee relations, and help align HR practices with business goals.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR administrative functions, including employee records, onboarding, and offboardingÂ
- Maintain HRIS systems, personnel files, and documentation in compliance with legal requirementsÂ
- Process payroll coordination and benefits administrationÂ
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsÂ
- Develop, update, and enforce company policies and proceduresÂ
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts (job postings, screening, interviewing, hiring)Â
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolutionÂ
- Support performance management processes, including reviews and coachingÂ
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectivesÂ
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, engagement, and productivityÂ
- Coordinate training programs and professional development initiativesÂ
- Support leadership development and employee growth plans
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and complianceÂ
- Experience handling administrative HR functions (payroll, records, benefits, etc.)Â
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on executionÂ
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems
- Recruiting experience, preferably within the service industry
Minimum Required Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)Â
- 3–7+ years of HR experience, preferably in mid-sized business or fast-growing organizationsÂ
- HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent), or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
- Proficiency with technology, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
