Description
The Service Lot Attendant plays a key role in supporting the service department by ensuring the safe, efficient movement and organization of vehicles. This position helps maintain a professional appearance of the service lot, supports technicians and advisors, and contributes to an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Park, organize, and retrieve customer vehicles in a timely and safe manner
- Transport vehicles between the service lane, lot, wash area, and technician stalls
- Perform basic vehicle inspections (check mileage, fuel level, visible damage)
- Assist with keeping the service drive, parking areas, and lot clean and orderly
- Help prepare vehicles for customer delivery (washing, vacuuming, light interior/exterior cleanup)
- Install protective items such as seat covers, floor mats, and steering wheel covers
- Ensure keys, key tags, and vehicles are properly logged and secured
- Assist service advisors and technicians as needed with vehicle movement and organization
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures
