Overview

Management of patients pre-operatively, intra-operatively, and post-operatively under the supervision of staff anesthesiologists.
Responsibilities

Performs a complete health history, preanesthetic assessment and anesthetic care plan for each patient.
Implement an anesthetic care plan
Communication Information
Participate in teaching and learning
Demonstrate professional accountability
Documentation on Anesthesia Operative Record

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: A minimum of a Master’s degree in advanced nursing practice is required

Credentialing: Must meet requirements set forth by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as an Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable

Must successfully pass an AHCA Level 2 screening for this position: https://info.flclearinghouse.com/

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the State of Florida. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support.
