School Age Bus DriverÂ
The Learning Experience – Bristow is seeking a reliable and safety-focused School Age Bus Driver to support transportation for our before- and after-school childcare program. This role is responsible for safely transporting children to and from local schools while also supporting a positive and structured environment for school-age students.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and values safety, consistency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Â Safely transport school-age children to and from local elementary schoolsÂ
- Â Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and maintain transportation logsÂ
- Â Ensure children are safely loaded, secured, and supervised during transportationÂ
- Â Maintain compliance with all transportation safety procedures and licensing requirementsÂ
- Â Support school-age classrooms and activities between transportation runs as neededÂ
- Â Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and center leadershipÂ
- Â Maintain a positive and professional attitude with children and team membersÂ
Qualifications
- Â High school diploma requiredÂ
- Â Prior childcare experience preferredÂ
-  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record requiredÂ
- Â Experience driving children or passengers preferredÂ
- Â Strong reliability, communication, and supervision skillsÂ
- Â Must meet Virginia childcare licensing and transportation requirementsÂ
