Job DetailsJob Location: Gainesville - Gainesville, GA 30501Position Type: Full TimeEssential Position Requirements (include but are not limited to): SAFETY FIRST – Every employee of Cellofoam North America Inc. must demonstrate a strong commitment to following all safety standards, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others. Assist with the management of the UL Quality Assurance and create ISO9000 compliance program within the divisions. This includes the selection, development and motivation of Site, Plant, Production Managers and employee plant-level Quality Assurance development and management of the company’s quality process within the divisions. Perform quality and system audits as required to ensure conformity to corporate and customer quality requirements, specifications and at the necessary records and documentation are maintained. Provide communication to manufacturing and sales management regarding the divisional quality programs. Provide communication to all employees to instill Cellofoam’s quality standards and procedures, and to provide a positive atmosphere for continuous Improvement. Assure that the quality program contributes to divisional and corporate profitability goals. Communicate with all production workers, plant and site managers regarding - quality issues, densities and part weights, shipping and receiving concerns, complaints or other concerns - to maintain corporate and customer quality specifications. Train new employees in quality procedures. Respond to quality problems, complaints or concerns as they arise. Assist with the division's efforts to establish, implement, and maintain UL registration and ISO9000 compliant according to approved corporate guidelines and procedures. Assist Quality Manager and Manufacturing with the implementation, documentation, monitoring and reporting on each plant's quality status. Review plant data for trends and recommend changes. Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment. Create, review and revise quality procedures, instructions and paperwork to ensure the quality and manufacturing processes are at the highest efficiency. Develop, plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits with defined reports and distributions, to verify the effectiveness of each plant's quality system and staff. Conduct internal auditor training. Conduct supplier audits as required. Assure that local manufacturing team members and management, have correct procedures and operating instructions that adhere to the guidelines set by the corporation. Schedule divisional specific quality and CAR web meetings that help create a world class quality focused team. Maintain master calibration information and have all test equipment calibrated at require intervals. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules. Work according to deadlines for delivery of specific quality requirements. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintain a working knowledge and is in full compliance with corporate standards for business conduct and Federal anti-trust laws.
