Job DetailsJob Location: Gainesville - Gainesville, TX 76240Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $17.00 HourlyJob Shift: 3rd ShiftJob Category: ManufacturingThe Recycling Grinder is responsible for operating grinding equipment, preparing HDPE plastic materials, monitoring the processes, and ensuring the accurate weighing, labeling, and transfer of material for further processing. This role supports production efficiency, safety, and quality standards within the facility.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES Grind, wash, dry and warehouse raw material.   Operate grinders and conveyor systems safely and efficiently Monitor material flow through the conveyor and grinder to prevent blockages. Troubleshoot equipment in the event of clogs, overheating, or mechanical issues (following equipment manuals and safety protocols).  Weigh materials using facility scales.  Record weights in production logs and or reports.  Label weighed material with proper weight, date and operator identification.  Operate forklift safely.  Follow all safety guidelines for equipment use. Wear required PPE including gloves, safety goggles, hard hat, and hearing protection.  Ensure all equipment guards and safety devices are in place and functional.   Report material inconsistencies or deviations.  QualificationsEDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE Ability to read, understand, and follow job orders and work instructions Basic math skills Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing approximately 50–75 pounds.  Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment Ability to work safely around industrial equipment
