The Service Operations Assistant supports front‑end and store service operations by helping ensure smooth daily execution, strong customer service standards, and operational readiness. This role assists service leadership with associate support, coordination, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily front‑end operations, including registers, self‑checkout, and service desk activities
- Assist with coordinating coverage, breaks, lunches, and task assignments
- Support resolution of customer questions, refunds, exchanges, and service issues
- Help execute service initiatives, promotions, and operational directives
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all service areas
- Assist with basic reports, audits, and follow‑up tasks as assigned
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching service associates
- Provide real‑time guidance and support during peak business periods
- Reinforce service standards, attendance expectations, and appearance guidelines
- Serve as a communication link between associates and service leadership
- Provide supervisory support or coverage as scheduled
- Model friendly, professional, and solutions‑focused customer service
- Promote a welcoming, efficient, and customer‑first service environment
- Support service recovery and customer satisfaction efforts
- Support cash handling, loss prevention, and accountability procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor guidelines, and safety standards
- Assist with inspection readiness and corrective action follow‑up
- Ensure proper use and care of front‑end equipment and systems
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with front‑end duties
- Fast‑paced retail environment with frequent customer interaction
- Role requires mobility, multitasking, and attention to detail
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). Â Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.
