Job DetailsJob Location: Gainesville, GA 30504Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $19.00 - $22.00 HourlyJob Category: FacilitiesLandscape Management Company is looking for a Turf/Maintenance Chemical Applicator in lawn and ornamental. Will be spraying herbicides, pesticides, fungicides on large commercial or residential properties, supervising at times a crew of Spray Technicians for commercial landscape maintenance accounts. Landscape Spray Technician is responsible for ground maintenance by keeping lawns, trees, plants healthy by eliminating unwanted insects and vegetation. This includes treating trees, shrubs, flowerbeds and lawns using various herbicides, pesticides and fungicides on commercial properties. You are dispatched by your Account Manager using company vehicle to get to various job sites. Salary $19.00-22.00 per hour (based on experience)  Responsibilities and Duties Knowledge and ability to diagnose turf and plant issues. Plant identification skills Prepare and mix chemicals in a proper and safe manner Ensure a clean and safe environment for both self, fellow employees, and clients Operate light to heavy vehicles, tools and equipment in the application of various herbicides Safely apply chemical and fertilizing applications when needed and always within compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (such as EPA, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Environmental Regulation) and safety procedures On -the-job training provided. QualificationsQualifications and Skills Have a clean driving record & a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years (required) Spray Applicator License (preferred) Basic computer/tablet/phone skills Independent worker & work well with other Organizational and time management skills Job Type: Full-time
