The Talent Optimization Strategist is a strategic role responsible for enhancing the effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability of Talent Acquisition and workforce processes. This position focuses on process standardization, project management, and continuous improvement by leveraging data, market insights, and innovative methodologies. 

 

Partnering across HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders, the Talent Optimization Strategist drives forward-thinking initiatives, implements best-in-class practices, and applies structured problem-solving approaches (e.g., go and see, process mapping, and project planning) to improve hiring outcomes and organizational performance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex, cross-functional projects using structured project management methods to improve recruiting tools, systems, and end‑to‑end workflows for the Talent Team.
  • Analyze recruiting, workforce, and operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities.  Translate findings into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with leadership to support proactive workforce planning through market intelligence, capacity modeling, and forward-looking talent strategies.
  • Partner with HR Operations and functional stakeholders to modernize talent platforms and workflows, improving data quality, usability, and operational reliability.
  • Design, document, and implement standardized, scalable talent acquisition processes that improve consistency, efficiency, and user experience
  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies, including process mapping, root‑cause analysis, and workflow assessments, to optimize efficiency and operational outcomes.
  • Support full‑cycle implementations by coordinating discovery, defining requirements, coordinating testing, and executing successful system and process deployments with partner Centers of Excellence in HR
  • Build and refine analytics frameworks, dashboards, and reporting assets that enable performance monitoring, capacity modeling, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Qualifications

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years) in talent operations, optimization, workforce planning, or related roles.

 

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Operations, HR Optimization, Workforce Planning, or related analytical, system-focused roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools and HR Systems (ATS, CRM, dashboards, Excel, Power BI, etc.) that drive process improvement and decision-making.

 

Other Qualifications: 

  • Ability to translate complex data and process improvements into actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and change management skills.
  • Strong project management skills (Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies preferred).
