How You’ll Make a Difference
Your expertise keeps our customers moving. As a Technician 3, you’ll tackle complex repairs, diagnose problems others may not see, and help ensure every piece of equipment you touch is safe, reliable, and ready to perform.
What You’ll Do
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment across gas, diesel, LP, and electric systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, drive systems, and lifting components.
Keep equipment safe and dependable through inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, failure analysis, basic welding, and repairs performed to manufacturer specifications.
Lead with safety and accountability by following Briggs safety practices, DOT and OSHA requirements, maintaining accurate service records, and keeping your company vehicle, parts, and supplies ready for the job.
Be a resource for the team by providing advanced diagnostic support, completing required technical training and certifications, and supporting Service leadership in bringing great technicians onto the Briggs team.

What You’ll Bring
8+ years of diesel repair or related industry experience, along with strong mechanical aptitude, advanced troubleshooting skills, and thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and operations.
Ability to use precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges; welding or fabrication experience is a plus. Certification on at least 75% of the Briggs Equipment product line is expected.
A customer-first attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.​
