Summary:
Support production and engineering by ensuring products meet specifications. Experience with machining, blueprint interpretation, and proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)is highly valued.
Position Responsibilities:
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
- Perform measurements using equipment such as calipers, micrometers, profilometers, roughness testers, visual measurement systems, and others.
- Conduct measurements using CMM and develop new measurement programs for CMM.
- Perform tests, analyze results, generate detailed reports, and recommend machining adjustments.
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Proficient in reading blueprints.
- Experienced in using conventional measuring equipment.
- Proficient with CMM equipment (Zeiss/Mitutoyo preferred).
- Skilled in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Familiarity with machine tools, such as milling machines and lathes, is a plus.
Education:
- HS diploma or AA degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- 3+ years in quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing environment requiring walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged focus on visual tasks, including data entry on a computer and inspections.
Schedule Options:
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 4:15 PM – 2:45 AM
Weekend Day Shift: Friday–Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Weekend Night Shift: Friday–Sunday | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
