We are currently hiring for a Set-Up/Delivery technician in Metropolitan Area. This is a full-time position. We provide office technology solutions through-out the DMV metro area and need someone to help our delivery and installation team.Â
Responsibilities:Â
- Set-up, deliver and install office equipment for customers.Â
- Schedule installation and verify requirements.Â
- Assist with refurbishing equipment as needed.Â
- Read and interpret specification and schematics to determine machine settings, adjustments, installation and assembly.Â
- Diagnose office equipment issues using a variety of testing devices and background knowledge.Â
- Must be able to communicate with operators to determine problems prior to call or onsite visit.Â
- Write thorough and legible service reports.Â
- Troubleshoot repair job ensuring equipment has effectively been repaired.Â
- Accurately document all information.Â
- Understand Offix’s service procedures, company policies and protocol with an excellent ability to follow through.Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.Â
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School diploma – Vo Tech Graduate/Tech School Diploma or equivalent is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Â
- Must pass a DOT physical (company paid)Â
- Maintain a business-like appearance at all times.Â
- Strong customer service skills.Â
- Strong relationship management skills with customers and personnel within the organization required.Â
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.Â
- Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member.Â
- Ability to work under stress/pressure to meet deadlines and financial objectives.Â
