Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is a 61,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital featuring 40 private patient rooms, a dedicated brain injury and stroke recovery unit, and advanced therapy spaces. Our collaborative team environment supports work-life balance while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients regain independence and improve quality of life following stroke, neurological conditions, and other complex injuries.

 

How you’ll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who excels in this role:

  • Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse 
  • Assists with patient assessments and contributes to care planning 
  • Administers treatments and medications within scope of practice 
  • Supports interdisciplinary care interventions focused on rehabilitation progress 
  • Documents patient information accurately and in a timely manner 
  • Provides care appropriate to the age and condition of the patient 
  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and patient advocacy 

 

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation setting.

Additional requirements include:

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program 
  • Current state licensure as an LPN/LVN 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required 
  • IV Certification preferred or obtained within six months 
  • Minimum six months of acute care or rehabilitation experience preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)
