Stand-up Forklift Team Member – Join Our Team
Position Overview
Kubota Manufacturing of America in Gainesville, GA is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Stand-up Forklift Team Members. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting production operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
This role involves operating stand-up forklifts and/or tuggers and utilizing scanning systems to accurately move and track materials within AS400 and Apriso systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently pick, transport, and deliver materials as required to support production
- Perform daily inspections and safely operate powered industrial equipment, including stand-up forklifts and tuggers
- Maintain valid certification for all assigned equipment
- Use scanning devices to track inventory, conduct bin-to-bin moves, and ensure accurate material placement
- Perform audits to ensure compliance with e-kanban scanning processes
- Follow all Kubota safety policies and dock operation standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with 5S principles
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and requirements
- Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Basic English communication skills, including reading and legible writing
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification on powered industrial equipment within 30 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., stand-up or tuggers)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

- Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
