After-School Cooking and STEAM Instructor

Your Role:

• Lead interactive after-school sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking, using provided curriculum.
• Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in hands-on experiments and creative projects.
• Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Brings experience working with children, whether in a school, camp, or similar setting, and is excited to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
• Demonstrates effective classroom management skills, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere for students to learn and explore.
• Values punctuality, reliability, and the opportunity to contribute to the enrichment of young minds.

Your Schedule and Pay:

• Pay is $80 per class (class is 1 hour long)
• We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you
• All classes run around the same time starting between 2-5pm (depending on the school) in the afternoon and run for 1 hour. You can only teach 1 class per day or up to 5 classes per week.

Our school partners are located throughout Montgomery County, Maryland, including Westover, Rachel Carson, Chevy Chase, Westbrook, Bradley Hills, and surrounding areas.
